Diversifying & Integrating the Science Workforce through InSciTE
Help this program that addresses inequity and future workforce needs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields. The College of Science and Engineering at CMU has started a new academic initiative called InSciTE (Integration of Science, Technology and Engineering) that flips the script on STEM education. InSciTE will lead to approximately 50 new scientists and engineers per year who have the expertise and competency to form diverse teams that are more engaged in their communities and better able to tackle complex problems of the coming decades.
