Can I make a gift in honor or in memoriam of someone or an organization?
Yes. Please see the Final Steps section on the Donate page to make your gift in honor or in memoriam of a person or organization.
Can I post my custom Ambassador link on social media?
Yes! Please share your custom Ambassador link through your social media channels. By sharing your custom link, you can track how many donors have made gifts because of your willingness to share the news of CMU's 132nd Anniversary giving week.
Is there a minimum gift amount?
Yes, the minimum gift amount for online gifts is $10.
Can my gift be made anonymous?
Yes, your gift can be made anonymous. In the Final Steps section on the Donate page, simply choose which setting under Donor Wall Settings fits best for you.
Are gifts tax deductible?
Yes, your gift is tax deductible. You will be mailed a receipt that can be used for tax purposes. Please note for gifts to Athletics, you will be mailed tax information.
What if I don't see my area of interest?
In the Department or Program dropdown box, scroll down until you get to the Additional Areas of Support section. Under the section, you can click "Other," and from there, you can type in the name of the CMU fund you would like to give to. Our giving team will make sure your contribution gets counted.
