Giving Week

This year, we proudly celebrate two remarkable milestones at Central Michigan University: 65 years of the Honors Program and 35 years of the Centralis Scholarship Program. Since 1961, the Honors Program has fostered a vibrant community of scholars committed to academic excellence, leadership, and service. Since 1990, more than 2,500 students have received a Centralis Scholarship, opening doors to extraordinary educational opportunities and lifelong success. Together, these programs have provided exceptional Honors, meaningful faculty mentorship, and transformative academic and co-curricular experiences that inspire students to think critically, lead with integrity, and strive not only for personal achievement but also to make a lasting impact on their communities and the world.

As we celebrate this legacy, we invite you to invest in the future of Honors education by making a gift to support the Honors Program and the Centralis Scholarship Program. Your generosity will help ensure that future generations of Honors students—nearly half of whom do not receive Honors scholarships—continue to benefit from the life-changing opportunities that define the Honors experience. Your support can expand access to undergraduate research, study abroad programs, professional conferences, and other enriching experiences that prepare students to become the next generation of innovators, scholars, and servant leaders.

Together, we can honor the past, empower today's students, and shape the future of Honors education at Central Michigan University.
