Help CMU students through difficult times
Life is full of twists and turns, events that can threaten a student’s college education. At CMU, our Student Emergency Fund is there when our CMU students need a boost, often allowing them to stay in school through difficult circumstances.
Sometimes our students are faced with unexpected family emergencies or job changes that put them up against both emotional and financial obstacles.

Jace Parker has a bachelor's degree in Child Development from CMU. "In 2018, my biological mother cut me out of her life entirely—that meant in every single way, including financially." The Student Emergency Fund was there to help Jace "shift the stress of finances to a focus on academics." Your donation to the SEF today will have a lasting impact on a student like Jace in need.
CMU Chippewas and friends really showed their generosity this GivingTuesday. We can’t thank you enough for giving back and igniting the path for CMU student success. Your gifts truly make a difference. Fire Up Chips and happy holidays!
CMU alumni and friends did it! Thank you for raising $60,000 for the Student Emergency Fund. A matching $60,000 has been unlocked for students, thanks to a generous anonymous donor.
